That depends on what your friend prefers, how much space is available, whether or not their are any allergies or problems with diets (mice/ rats in particular) etc One pet is not better than the other for every situation. Personally, i'd rather have the snake a hundred times over. The cannot scratch you, most are very docile and reluctant to bite. They are pretty cheap to keep, they dont demand huge amounts of space or time. They dont smell and dont make a mess. They are really beautiful animals. A lot of people dont realise that rabbits need a lot of space, time and attention. They need shots from the vets, and most of them - no matter what you do - do not like to be picked up and cuddled. They can be surprisingly aggressive animals, as cute as they may be... |
