I will get strait to the point. I want a pet snake but my mom doesnt want one that eats stuff like mice. She says that would be disgusting and mean. So i researched snakes and other then one called a rough green snake no pet stores sold it i couldn't find any. But then i saw garter snakes. It said they eat earth worms, fish, mice, and proccesed snake food. So could I feed a garter snake on just earth worms and proccesed food? mabye the occasional minnow thank you
My pet corn snake escaped why would he do this and where should i look to find him?
i have a baby corn snake about 1 1 2 feet long and hes escaped from the cage hes been gone about two days i have looked almost every where and still havent found him would he go in the vent when the heat is on? and will he come out so i can see him or will he stay hidden? help please

Considering A Pet Snake, Advice?
I've always wanted a pet snake and I want one that's not too big but not too small either, and I want one that I can handle sometimes without it biting me or anything. Recommendations? Possibly a ball python? Also, I'd like one that I can feed mice that are already dead because I love animals and wouldn't be able to feed a live mouse, I would feel bad.
Help! Panther [our pet boa] has had a bit of runny nose lately--does he need sudafed? is this safe for a snake?
2nd thought, don't think it twould be safe.However we placed a kleenex in there.Yes, he seems to know what it's for, as I've caught him sort of 'dipping down' his face into it wiping his nose.
