How can I get my pet rabbit to let me pick him up/sit still?
I've had a rabbit for almost 3 years now, and although I am able to interact with him at ground level, he will not allow me to pick him up or keep him sat on my lap. When trying to pick him up, he will bite and kick in protest. If I actually can manage to hold him, he usually begins to bite and scratch within a few seconds. When sitting on a sofa or chair and attempting to have him sit calmly next to me or on my lap, he refuses to stay in one place and will attempt to bite. When he was younger, he was no trouble, but as he's aged is when the problem started. I did have him taken to the vet to have him 'fixed' and while his behaviour in other areas has improved, it's still difficult to hold him.Any advice?

Pet rabbit...outdoor hutch at an apartment?
I have grown up with pet rabbits and my most recent one died last week . I already miss having a pet to take care of but i'm going back to school soon. I live in a university owned apartment that only allows us to have fish for pets but I think i found a way...My apartment has a deck balcony off of the living area so I think I could build a small rabbit hutch and keep it outside. I have never kept a rabbit outside do you think it would be ok? I would let it run around inside and play with it often I just don't want it smelling up the apartment because I have a roommate 2 bedroom apartment . What do you think?
