Need advice on puppy feeding/walking schedule...?
We're getting a dachshund puppy in a few weeks and he will be 12 1 2 weeks old when we bring him home. The breeder has fully crate trained him and he is potty trained, as well as a dachshund can be ha ha . My husband and I work different schedules, though, so I'm wondering what is the best routine for feeding, especially feeding him breakfast. I am up at 3 45am and out the door by 4 40am, and my hubby and son are up at 6 30am and leave at 8 15am. My proposed schedule is snack and potty break at 4 00am with me, then back to bed w hubby until 6 30am, breakfast, potty, walk, etc between 6 30 and 8am, into crate, I'll come home at 11am for lunch, potty, walk, etc, into crate at 11 45am, I'm home at 3 00pm, then he's with me for the rest of the day running errands, picking up son school, walks, training, etc . Dinner around 6 00pm, playtime, potty time, etc, then bedtime in the crate around 8 9pm. What do you think? Should he get breakfast when I get up at 4am or just a snack and then breakfast when the hubby gets up at 6 30am? Any advice would be greatly appreciated
Does anyone know of any high street shops to buy puppy feeding bottles?
Pups are a 2 days old now and i need to find more feeding bottles. Any ideas? I'm in Liverpool
Pitbull puppy feeding?
i feed my pitbull puppy 8 months 3 times a day, i give him wet food and just a touch of dry.. in the last few days he will not eat sometimes, he will just lick it and stop and just look at me and lick my hand.. today i thought why dnt i try feed him myself and when i would pick up spoonfuls he wid eat them but it seems he's onlt eating because of me giving it.. then when i put dry food down he seems to gobble it up like he loves it soooo much.. bit weird.. his toilet has been on and off in the last week, like one day he had the choco pudding type runs, then i gave him some pumpkin and he is normal now.. he doesnt seem sick, his bubbly energetic self.. he ate normally twice today.. and then tonight he didnt seem hungry..i was thinking that shall i only feed him twice a day now?

i just got my 2 month old puppy less then a week ago. ive been off work on vacation so ive been able to take her out in the morning then feed her then wait around til she has to go potty. now that im going back to work im not sure what to do? please help, thank u
4 week old puppy feeding....please read?
Hi, i rescued 3 female heeler puppies for those of you who read my other questions about themyou know why i have them so young.. They are all eating a mix of pablum, ground turkey and beef raw mix, an egg and puppy milk. THEY ARE ALWAYS hungary. Do i feed them more? each puppy eats about 2 tbspoons of pablum, some milk, a small meat ball of the meat, and whatever egg is outa the mixture. They ALWAYS clean there bowls. Ive fed them twice today. Also, housebreaking..when i got my 6 month old heeler he was 4 months old. Ive never had a puppy any younger. Do i wait to try to house train? Do i use pee pads? its 32 with windchill wiht about 2 feet of snow, so its not like i can put them outside in a doggy pen, and yes ive put sand and dirt in a corner so that they arent in snow. When they are outside more then about 5 mins, they start screaming and holding up there feet. When you play with them, they are VERY nasty when they bite, my pit bull plays very gently with them but they draw blood on her. She will put her mouth over there heads give a low growl, they go all submissive like, pit bull walks away they start biting her tail and stuff. They bite ur hands VERY hard. The 6 month old heeler always plays with them, chase games, and he also growls at them and shows teeth but not putting his mouth on them when they get to rough. We are more careful with him because he is still a puppy AND an intact male.thanksin all they each eat about 1 cup and a quarter each feeding.i dont feed kibble. I feed raw.
6 month old puppy feeding concern?
my golden retriever puppy is turning 6 months in a few short days, and he's pretty healthy. should i start feeding it twice a day now? if so, how many cups of food should i feed him? as i said, his weight is good and healthy for his age so what's the normal, average amount of cups of puppy food he should be eating now? thank you.
Puppy feeding help?!?!?
just got a new puppy....miniture schnauzer...and shes about 2 and a half months old....kinda of clueless about the about of puppy food i should feed her at each meal..i think i have to feed her 3 times a day but correct me if im wrong..also should i grond up the puppy food and mix with water..or should i just feed it to her normaly alredy fed her once today and she seemed to eat the food whole just fine..but im not sure what i should do ....please help me out thanks

When can my puppy feed on puppy food?
it's still very young. it's 6weeks old. it still drinks milk.it's breed is a cockapoo. cockapoos are medium sized dogs,right? and they are mixed with poodle and maltese ?i know it still needs to feed on milk now. just preparing my mind. THANKS.uhh... to the people that caught our mistakes..... the pup's not the breeders, it gave birth at my house. well the mother ran away. ..... so yeah. well if i could convince my parents to stop giving it cow milk, i would. and im not afraid to say my parents aree cheap, selfish,unpleasant ,people. and the dog didnt run away they had to release it yes i dont get my choice. i know alot more about cockapoos then they do. OK??thanks to star behind the willow a cockapoo is a poodle and cocker spaniel. see thats one person who knows what that breed is and doesnt tell me i dont research it. see im researching it NOW.
Puppy feeding question?
I have a large breed puppy. I have heard that is better to feed large breed puppies adult large breed food because it has less protein and it slows their growth and you don't want them to grow to fast. Some people disagree and say to feed large breed puppy food. So my question is will it stunt my puppies growth or just make her grow at a slower pace if I feed adult food. Please if you don't have any experience in feeding dogs don't comment. Thanks.I am just worried about stunting her growth....
14 wk old Lab puppy - feeding 1.5 cups/3 times a day and she always wants more. Is this too much/not enough?
The puppy always scarfs down her food really fast and then seems to want more, should I give her more? I do not want her to become overweight but want her to be eating the amount she needs as well. Please help.
