Question: Why would a pot belly pig attack someone? how would you stop it?

I have to feed a pot belly pig for the next week or so, the owner was with me when they showed me how to. I went into the cage with some food, and it nipped at my leg. Will it do something worse? How bad could an attack get with it? Also, how do i stop it or calm her down or distract it? Thanks You!!

Oh man. When a pig bites, a pig bites. They can do some damage. Call the owners, and ask how they correct the pig. When he nips, correct him and make it clear it's a no no, and you won't tolerate it. I'm sure he, like many animals is just testing you and what he can get away with. However, a full out attack? I can't see it really happening, unless he thinks he has to protect himself.
