Is my mouse ill or is it just nerves ?

Question: Is my mouse ill or is it just nerves ?

(Posted by: AlexDaGerbilLover on 2010-03-10 09:11:10)

My mum just brought back the two mice i wanted from the RSPCA (like 20min's ago) A mum and a daughter/ baby She keeps making this like 'sneezing' sound and i was wondering if she is ill or is it just nerves? >The RSPCA people said someone had brought in two mice (A girl and a boy) who had been found outside a nursery in a box, then a week later the girl gives birth to 3 babies, in the end 2 of them die and one survives. (Im getting the mum and the baby that survived.) So if you have any ideas if shes ill or like i said, is it just nerves?? I think i will give it a couple of days to see if their are any changes. Thanks

I think you should give it a couple of days, If they start to get worse then I would take them to the doctor. Look for any signs of tumors, scabs, loss of fur, bald spots, just things like that and if any of them do have any of those symptoms it is reccamended you take them to the Doctor. if you aren't sure how to tell what a tumor looks like when it first starts to grow then here it is: it will be a black spot on the neck, back, leg, etc...... I hope this will help you, also if you are using scented or wood shavings for your bedding then that is most likely the cause, the best bedding that is absorbant, none scented odor control, soft, none dusty or scratchy is Care Fresh bedding.
