Is it okay to put a new koi fish in an aquarium with my goldfish?
i want to get a koi fish, but i dont know if it'll eat my goldfish since the goldfish are just a little bit smaller than it. Ive had my goldfish for 5 months now so they arent the itty bitty ones you get at walmart. but they still arent as big as the koi fish you get at walmart either. Will the koi fish still eat the goldfish even if it's a little bit bigger? or should i wait til the goldfish get as big as a baby koi?
Can koi regrow a fallen scale?
i have had koi in the past for a couple months and i remember noticing a few missing scales, will these scales grow back in time?, and how could i have made them grow back faster?thank you
Why do koi fish jump out of the fish pond?

I have a 210 tank with koi in it for the winter I have a fully grown koi and had two smaller koi. When I woke up from last night one of the smaller koi had vanished from the tank. I'm wondering if the larger koi could have eaten the smaller one? Otherwise I have no idea what happened

I recently built a 500 gallon tank for my baby koi I have two to keep them in until the summer when I'm planning to build them a pond. I'm thinking of buying other fish probably some of those goldfish with the really big eyes, I'm not sure what they're properly called to grow a little bit in the tank so that I have something to keep in there once the koi move to their new home.Is there anything I should know about koi disputing with other fish they're in the same tank with? I was pretty sure that they're known to bother other fish by chasing them around the tank, but I've never heard about them killing or actually hurting the fish. Are there any types of fish I shouldn't put in the tank with them? Will they eat smaller fish if I try to place them in the tank with them?I was also wondering how big I would need to make a sucker fish again, I don't know the proper name for them if I was going to put it in the tank with them.One of the koi is probably 5 inches long and the other is about 3 4. Do I need to buy a tank cleaning fish that is bigger than them? Will they eat it if I buy a baby?
