hi, i am getting a kitten and i have reasearched them. my kitten will be spayed as soon as it is old enough. it will be up to date on vaccinations ect. anyone got any worthwhile tips from personal expirience on kittens?
Newborn kitten care tips?
I found 3 kittens by kitten I mean, they can't walk & see yet along the road yesterday, with no mother I waited a few hours because their mother might come back , so I decided to adopt them. Now they are with me but I noticed that they dont want to drink milk from a bottle so now I am worried if there is something wrong or are they just too young to drink. I get worried because they keep on crying but I dont know what to do

My outside cat had 3 kittens for the first time on Saturday, May 15th. They are 12 days old today. One is orange and white striped, one is a calico like it's mother, and one is black and white striped. The orange kitten is the healthiest of the three, with his right eye completely open and his left 3 quarters open. The calico colored kitten has both of it's eyes half way open, and the black and white striped has none of it's eyes open, and is probably the 'runt' of the litter. The first time we took them out of the nest to examine their health was May 24th. The orange cat's right eye was a quarter open. The kittens are now 12 days old, and only one of them has their eyes open. Is it normal for their eyes not to be open yet? I also noticed a few fleas on each of the kittens. I assume they got them from their mother. What should I do about this? My last VERY important question is this. We are keeping the orange kitten, and giving the other 2 to relatives. Would it be a bad for the mother or kitten if I took the orange kitten in our house and raised him myself? Would the kittens kittens mom be freaked out if this happened? THANKS SO MUCH IN ADVANCE
4 month old kitten care?
I need to get it vaccinated or whatever and make sure its dewormed but i have no clue how. Im by cleveland, so i was wondering if cleveland APL would give its starter shots?I dunno. please help.
Need advice on general kitten care?
im getting a kitten in a few weeks, he will be between 8 10 weeks old when i get him and would just like some advice as it will be my first cat. ive red up on injections and nuetering but would just like to know a few things how long should i keep him inside?how often and how much should i feed him? and are store brand cat foods as good for the cat as the brand names?how often should i change his litter tray?and any general bits of information or advice anyone can give me??thanks in advance xi dont mean to sound silly but is it really that easy to keep a cat indoors? i have two kids who are always in a and out of the garden, ive got a vision of the cat bolting for the day each time its opened
Need advice on kitten care from experienced breeders/caretakers??
I found a stray kitten being played with by stray male cats like prey, took it to the vet, he said 4 weeks old, weighs 1 2 a pound, upper respiratory and eye infection, got necessary meds took the kitten home. I got KMR and a nurser just in case. Turns out, she only nurses with no interest in lapping the KMR from a dish, no interest in any other types of food canned, baby food, kitten chow no matter how I fix it. She nurses only. I feed her every 3 or 4 hours and she takes 1 2 to 3 4 ounce max. The only way she poos is for me to stimulate her to do so, and I found this out after she hadn't pooed in days and I knew I should try something. The vet had said that she could eat and poo on her own. Should I expect this out of a kitten that's 4 weeks old, or has the vet got the age wrong? Any advice on feeding? Bathroom habits? She's happy and playful, visible signs of infection are gone, even purrs, but I'm still concerned.

Help!!! Orphan kitten care!!!!?
Ok, just yesterday I helped save a wild kitten that was trapped in the underside of a car. I don't know what to do now because I plan on keeping, taming and caring for the kitten. I can't really determine how old he is and yes, I'm pretty sure it's a HE . His eyes are fully open and he seems able to walk around. Now, I've heard that cow's milk isn't the best thing for cats, especially kittens, because they can't digest it properly, so I've been trying to get him to drink soy. I want to get goats milk, but I cant seem to find it in grocery stores. Please, I need some tips on taking care of this little infant. Please, I'm worried he won't live if I don't get him to eat or drink.

Please help with emergency kitten care?
My cat just gave birth about a week ago, and the kittens were looking healthy, but just this afternoon, my cat went out for a while and came back, we thought, to feed her kittens, but when we checked we usually try to leave her alone we saw her dead, most likely poisoned, behind her litter. Now the kittens are barely past a week old, and motherless. How are we to care for them? We live in an area where it is quite hard to get ingredients to make kitten glop or to buy the baby formula, so what simple ingredients can be used as a hopefully suitable replacement formula?

I have a 10 week old female kitten. She was abandoned at an abandoned farm. Ive never OWNED a cat or kitten, but have taken care of them for a few days. I was wondering what the best food was for a kitten? My pet food distributer does not offer cat or kitten food. So, out of the wal mart pet co vet brands what are the best foods for a kitten, wet and dry? When do you switch to cat food? Should i get whiskas cat milk? What is the best litter? I bought SK clumping brand, but she eats it. What are other good brands for cats that are safe? When should i get her spayed? Is it the same as a dog at 6 months old? What are the best toys for kittens? I do have dogs, how do i go about introducing the kitten to dogs? My dogs are fine. Its the kitten im worried about. Thanks Sorry for how many questions.
