Is it okay to line the bottom of my ferret cage with feline fresh pine pellets?

Questions about the bedding of a ferret cage..?
i just got a 4 month old Marshalls ferret, we have the my Super Pet, my first home for her. a little igloo, a glass bowl for her food, and a triangular litter box. plus a plastic water bottle that hangs on the outside and whatnot. Well here's my question... we put a few old pieces on clothing, and a towel in her cage. She tends to push them around all the time and go underneath the clothing. She burries in the litterbox and when she hides in the clothing we get scared. Is it normal for them to burry? And also, other then clothing, whats another good bedding for the bottom of the cage that won't effect the health

so i have the cage petsmart.com product index.jsp?productId 2753281& lmdn Product Typemy dad has one too, so he took mine & his & put them on top of each other & bended the wire to make it safe, he cut the bottom's top a little bit so she can climb up & use what he left as another level. the cage is a lot bigger now, but will the wire hurt her feet ?if so where can i buy plastic ramps to put in there? like what petstores, or what can i build it out of.

What is a good ferret cage?
I am hopefully getting a ferret soon, and I would like to know what a good cage is. I want one under $200, with atleast 2 levels, and either doesn't have wheels, or has removable wheels. I would want it to be around or under 2 1 2 feet wide, and 1 1 2 feet long Why would you want to live in a too small apartment?Half a foot isn't much of a difference, and its definitely not imprisonment. Now, if I never took it out of that cage, or put it in a tiny rat cage, that would be a different story.I could probably go up to 2x3, actually. Height can be anything.It makes sense that it can mean a lot to the ferret, thats why I added that I could go up higher. I do not mean to inspire an argument, or seem like I'm an unprepared person, thanks for the advice

I was looking at this one ferret.com item feisty ferret home 600999 and most of the reviews were good but 2 of them said it fell apart and was terrible to clean and that the cage itself just soaked up stink and that is the only reason my dad doesn't want me to get a ferret STINK Then I also had this one in mind ferret.com item marshall ferret penthouse 651120 but it doesn't look like they have enough space for the ferret 1 to play.Then I heard that Ferret Nation cages were good and the only good looking one was this ferret.com item ferret nation habitat model 142 630503 but my only concern is that there is no trey and it would push all its waste that didn't make it to the litter box and junk out the sides like my rats did my parents hated that .I am stretching it by being willing to pay $200 on a cage but I will go there if i have to. What cage works for you? I just want one ferret but I want it to have LOTS of room for toys and play space. I appreciate all of your guys help in my research I now know for sure that a ferret is right for me, I just need to convince my dad now. Thank YOU Have your ferrets pushed junk out the sides? Ferret Caging please help?
Ok, so im getting a ferret, and it was going to cost $120, but because i have a 4.0 GPA, they are giving me a " good student discount" and she'll only cost $80, YAY and because i will only have her, and maybe getting one more, i was thinking that a SIngle Unit Ferret Nation cage would be ok. At the Ferret Haven they had 2 ferrets per single unit and it worked great, with lots of room. SO would this be ok, unless i get more than 2?
