If you could add a 100% natural dog food supplement to your commercial bought dog food....would you buy it?
With the economy in a down turn, more dog owners are resorting to purchasing a lower quality commercial dog food. If you could purchase a 100 % all natural high quality dog food supplement no preservatives, no pesticides, no coloring or additives ..... pure and simple Would you try it out?

Has anyone found a natural dog food that's approved by the AAFCO and is actually as good as home made?
I know the API says to look for meat as the first ingredient and vitamins C or E as preservatives. Has anyone found a good, natural commercial food that's actually healthy?DeeDaw I agree. Home made is better. I'm going to check out Wellness, as suggested, though.

Anyone feeding their pup go! natural dog food?
i'm feeding my 12 week old pup the go chicken fruit veggie dog food by petcurean. the closest recommended feeding portion for my pup is 2 3 cup for a 10lb pup. my pup is 4.7lbs so i'm feeding him close to 1 3 cup daily. he seems to still be hungry throughout the day. everytime he hears his food bowl, he'll wag his tail super fast and devour his food in seconds. once he's done, he still looks hungry. a lot of people tell me that dogs can eat and eat and eat until you take their food away and the vet told me that dogs do know when they're full. just wondering if anyone else is feeding their dog this brand of food and see the same thing. this line from petcurean indicates that dogs can be fed 40 % less because each kibble has 50 % more concentrated meat protein and energy.

What is a good natural dog food with no fillers?
I have 2 Boston Terriers and one of them has allergies to what we believe is corn and wheat. I've been feeding them the Iams Lamb and Rice...I'm kinda wondering why my vet would even recommend this food to me seeing as how on the back of the bag it has corn meal and corn grits. But anyways..I wanted to get some recommendations for a healthy natural dog food at an affordable price that I can purchase from ANY Petco,Petsmart or Petland if possible. Right now I'm leaning towards getting Blue Buffalo but I'd love to hear what other people have in mind Thanks in Advance

What is a good natural dog food for my dog?
I had a look at my dog's food and was shocked that only 8 % was meat I don't want to give a raw natural diet but want something that I can buy that will be nearly as good. Can other dog owners give me some advice? I thought I was doing the best buying pedigree chum and things like that but they are all full of additives. Thanks for your help

What is a good natural dog food for a older large breed dog? Help!?
I just recently adopted a 7 yrs old male German Shepard from the Humane Society. I was planning on keeping him on Science Diet because, that's what he had been eating for the 3 months he was there and I didn't want to have any problems that I know can occur from changing his food. I did switch him from Science Diet Large Breed to Science Diet Active Longevity because of his age. I am now learning that what I was hearing about Science Diet brand and what I am finding out through research are two totally different things He is about 15lb underweight right now from being in the shelter and I need to find a good healthy natural dog food to fatten him up a little while still being great for him. Please help

Natural Dog food suggestion for overweight dog with cancer?
I'm looking for a high quality natural food for my overweight, high cholesterol beagle who just had mass cell cancer tumors removed. I have read it is better to have a no grain diet as grain sugars feed cancer. However, with his high choloesterol and weight loss that is needed, I'm not sure a high protein diet will be good. Anyone have any suggestions?

What's the difference between Holistic,Organic, and Natural Dog food?
I have my eyes on Diamond brand dog food and i'm considering on switching my dog from disgusting purina one to the diamond brand. Does the diamond brand have holistic, organic, and natural dog food? I looked at the diamond maitenence dog food ingredients and it said it contained by products and corn meal in it. Diamond is good because it's not too expensive for me and their was a brand especially made for costco called kirkland signature that was made by them and I'm considering on buying that. What is it though natural, holistic, or organic? And how long would a bag of 20lb diamond dog food last? I want to purchase 40lb, but I might opt for a 20lb bag.Thank you. I've been researching into the best affordable dog food I can buy for my 13 week puppy. Because I just realized how bad purina is.

Using AvoDerm Natural dog food with added..?
Hi Well, my dog Angel has really bad skin problems. She's had them since she was a baby and we've tried alot of things to help her..but I suddenly had an idea. I know that AvoDerm Natural dog food is supposed to be good for dogs with skin problems, and they have a special brand for senior dogs which is what Angel would need. Also, I know that some things found in fish can be really soothing to the skin as well. So, if I got my baby AvoDerm Natural Senior food, and added a capsule of Fish Oil supplement into it every feeding, we only feed her once a day, everday ofcourse, around 5 530 would this be acceptable and safe for her? Thank you

California Natural dog food?
I switched both of my dogs to this food a few days ago Chicken and Rice Formula because one of my dogs has a sensitive stomach and the other has a list of food allergies almost a half page long. I figured it's made by Natura, and has a simple list of ingredients so it should be perfect, right? But then I happened to stumble upon the reviews on Rateitall and a good deal of them are not so good, with many reviews saying it made their dog severely ill. Here's the reviews rateitall.com i 27939 california natural.aspxHas anyone had any problems? Should I be concerned? So far my dogs seem to be doing okay but it's only been 2 days...
