How do i become the dogs one person?
Long story short i have had a few dogs. i take care of them and they listen to me sometimes but now i am 15 and i am planning on getting a German Shepard soon. Problem is German shepards may like the family but they tend to chose one person that is there master or whatever. My dad is a dog person and dogs just tend to obey him and fall in love with him at first site but i want this dog to be my dog and not scumb to the same faith as the other dogs. What the hell do i do to make the dog loyal to me???
Help me with mean dogs in our yard?
There are a pack of four large breed dogs living in the house behind us. The people seemed nice and the dogs were nice sorta and we had one large breed dog. She would run up and down the fence as the other dogs would bark and play. Our dog is an inside dog and my parents did not want her getting dirty, so my dad put up a wood fence, called stockade I think. Along with bushes and other stuff. Now the dogs could not see our dog and they began to dig and get into our yard. This would happen the these dogs would pounce on our read glass door and make my little brother cry he was so scared. This started 2 years ago when he was 2, now he is four and he is so scared. I get scared too but, with him it is different.Well, this last week they got out again and when we got inside the house, the dogs were slamming themselves on the glass door, our dog was for the first time ever, in defense mode and we were all scared. We have a gazebo tent thing near or rear door and the dogs got tangled up in it and destroyed it. We told them what their dogs did and the man called my Dad a liar. This pissed my dad off and they had words. The deed restrictions where we live say no more then 3 dogs, and they have a total of 6. They also have two sheds and can only have one. My Dad called 911 as this guy said if we called code enforcement he would hurt his kids because he think of his dogs as his kids.The cops said there was nothing they could do. We would need to take them to court. So my dad talked with some of the neighbors and he has 4 that have had problems with the dogs and all are willing to sign statements. Dad also found out the dogs have had code enforcement called on them at least 3 other times.So here is what I want to know. I am 22 and I am so mad they this is happening. My Dad is a good man and never lies and I know what I saw them do. This guy is a real jerk. Now I do not want to hurt his dogs, so please do not tell me things that would cause them any real harm. What I want to know is if there is something ANYTHING anyone can think of that would help us other then calling the cops. I am only 22 and I cant tell my daddy what I am doing here. I want this guy to regret saying he would hurt me and my younger brothers and sister. Please help me. You can email me if you don't want to say it here. I can also send you a pic of me so u can see I am real. I just cant do anything that will kill the dogs or be illegal. Like maybe something we can do on our property that if the dogs got into would hurt them a little. Just remember we have our own dog and we don't want her hurt. Maybe there is something else I am missing? I know my dad is gathering evidence to take them to court, but this guy said he would hurt us. Or is there a way we can get this guy to act up, something I can do to make him yell at me and say he will hurt me so I can video tape him? Like something I can do that might look bad, but is not bad so he can see me and run out yelling so I can catch him and call the cops? It has to be something good so we can get him arrested, Seems he has been a terror in this area and maybe we can be the family that stops the terror?Also, we have called the cops and cops cant do anything without proof, So unless we get some, we are sol. We say he said this and he says no I did not. So we need proof and I would rather that not be one of us or our own dog killed

I've had my dog since I was three. I'm now 18. Her and I literally grew up together She actually makes whining noises when I cry and she bumps my leg when I'm arguing with my brother haha. She pats the top of my hand when she wants me to sit on the floor. and shes not trained any mannerisms When I get up from the couch, my dog follows me.When I go to the bathroom, my dog waits outside the door.When I walk towards the front door, my dog run after me.When I'm in the kitchen my dog follows every step I make.When I motion that I'm about to move, my dog sits up.She pulls away when the veterinarian takes the leash from my hand.She is like my shadow haha.I adore it. I love my beautiful black lab more than life itself.

Why do people think that all puppy mills have there dogs not in buildings?
I know in the state of Michigan that we have to have protection for the dogs. Or it is a 200 dollar fine for each dog. i think it is because we have such cold winters. But I keep hearing about puppy mills around here that you can't see just hear them. I also know there is a few puppy mills about 45 miles from here. That bring there dogs to any pet shop that will take them. So why do we only think they are in the weather, when the state says they can't be that way. I think the ones in Michigan have to have there dogs covered or they will pay a big fine, especial if they have about 100 dogs.

I've had my lab retriever mix for five years and she's lived the life of riley while she has been with me. I think she was abused before she came in to my care.It took her a year to find her bark and she didn't approach anyone when I first got her. Now she is well adjusted and a happy dog She is ten and has night terrors she wakes up crying in the night and wakes me up . What do you suppose she's dreaming about?

I've been considering looking around at shelters in my area for another dog to bring home and wasn't sure what to narrow my search down to, if I should at all. I've heard that two female dogs are the most likely combination to fight.My beagle is very friendly all around and I have never seen her snap at any other dog, male or female, though the female dogs she has played with have been on neutral territory.What would you recommend for me to do in this situation? I am at my aunts house with my family and my 2 dogs Black labador and Chiwawa are with u. We went to a movie came back and there was a fire. Its about my new airedale terrier dog?
We are going to move to a 1,280 acre land with a house of course. So my dad said he would by me a puppy. Trust me I have a dog Im a great owner. I exercise my dog well. He is happy. So I have decided to get a airedale terrier. It was a bold choice only because they were different for my family. I have another dod a maltese, my mom has a shiatsu, my brother is either going to get a german shepard or a boxer. So will a airedale be good with all those dogs?
