Inbreeding can cause joint problems in the puppies, open palettes (the roof of the mouth where the bones are supposed to close up sometimes don't), retardation, learning problems, any bad genetics like spine or hip problems can show up worse in the pups than either parent has in their own bodies, or a slew of other things. You DO know that a pregnant dog can be spayed up till the final two weeks of carrying the puppies, right? Most shelters will put down any dog or cat who they know is from a litter of inbreeding between parent/ offspring, so there's not much help there. |

Oh, don't worry. Your dog will only die in whelping along with the whole litter. She is way too young to whelp, spay abort! |

My dogs also did that... 2 puppies came out, one is fine but the other is sick all the time. and she ended dying. |

You need to take the female in and have a emergency spay/ abort done. Those puppies are going to come out deformed and horrible ill. Please for the love of god get the dog fixed. |

That's called line breeding. Suitable for professional breeders who are knowledgeable about genetics but not for the novice. The pups may or may not be ok, you'll just have to wait & see. You won't know without knowing the genetic background. |

They will come out normal, dogs do that all the time, dont worry and sometimes you have an extra eye or leg as a bonus |

If the mom has had proper care and nutrition during pregnancy and she has no complications birthing and is a good mama - the pups will be fine. Get her spayed after she weans her pups. There may be spay & neuter funding where you live. |

No no... they got it all wrong... you never breed a mother and son but its okay to breed father-daughter! meaning you can breed a male back to his daughter but never a female back to her son. and its line breeding not inbreeding |

You need to get your dog to a vet ASAP to have an emergency spay and abortion of those puppies. You don't even want to KNOW how much you're risking. You're putting your dog's life in danger as well the well-being of the pups. Do them a favor and don't even let them develop, chances are, they wouldn't survive very long. Do your dog a favor and preserve her life. You're almost guaranteed to lose her if you let her go through the whelping. She's much, much, MUCH too young to be pregnant, even if she's physically capable of conception. A 12 year old girl is capable of conception, but is her being pregnant a good idea? GOD NO! |

Why did you not have this puppy spayed before she could become pregnant? If you are incapable of keeping a puppy bit*ch safe then you have no business having entire males and females. This is a puppy. She is far too young to be pregnant. She may have difficulty in whelping a litter because her body is not yet fully developed. She will also probably have no clue how to mother the puppies due to her young age. Have her spayed NOW. Every genetic weakness in the father which the daughter probably already carries will double up in the puppies. This is NOT line breeding, it's Inbreeding. Only the very experienced breeders who know how to study lines would line breed. No ethical breeder inbreeds. They would not breed father to daughter. |

This happens occasionally. Should not be a problem for the puppies. It is sometimes done by breeders. (called in-line breeding) The puppies should be fine. The one thing that may result is because it happened during the female's first heat cycle it may stunt her growth somewhat. |

There is a higher risk of health issues and deformaties with such close inbreedings. also the female is still a puppy.. so she's at a high risk of complications because of her age. Get her spayed ASAP |

BAD. The daughter is too young for one, and for two dad + daughter = AWFUL IDEA. It's the same with humans. Genetic defects all over the place, I wouldn't be surprised if not one survived especially if you haven't taken the dog to the vet. |

You'll find out after about 63 days. |

Well that would be called inbreeding. you should have had the puppies aborted. |
