Help please, Stray dog problem?
We have 3 dogs and a guinea pig and we found this dog before but she had a collar on and this time she doesn't. Last time we found her, her owning didn't want to come get her and it seemed like he wanted her either. She's been out for about 3 days now and has been 'visiting' our dogs through our fence. 2 out of 3 of our dogs like her. We found all our dogs off the streets and we can't afford another there's this lady down our street who takes care of stray dogs and we might take her there. What should we do?

ok, so me and my family just got a shih tzu and its 3 months old. its a boy he seems to love everyone in the house but me. when someone picks him up, he starts kissing them and wanting to play. but when i pick him up, he starts like biting me and growling at me. and i pick him up the right way like, he hates me and he luvs everyone but me its like one day hes kissing me and the next minute he really dislikes me. and hes just a puppy and i take good care of him by washing him like once every 2 weeks, letting him outside, and giving him plenty of food and water and wen he's misbehaving by biting and growling, i punish him by saying no very loudley and putting him in his crate for a few minutes. what should i do to get him to like me? wen he sees my mom, dad, or sister, he starts kissing them like crazy. but wen he sees me, he looks at me with such angry eyes and snaps at me i dont do anything to hurt him i always try to cuddle with him and pet him but he just hates me wen my mom or dad picks him up, hes fine, but wen i pick him up very gently, he starts going nuts WAT SHOULD I DO?
What can i do about this dog problem? ?
I have a 3 month old dog.Ive had it for 1 month though and it always runs around when it sees me. When i get close i pet it and itll get use to me and come up to me and not run when i get up and make sudden movements... but then the next day i would go outside and itll just run away from me again... and illwarm up to it but it dosent seem like im making any progress...Also how can i get it to walk with me.Sometimes when i warm up to it ithen put a leash on it and try to walk it but then she will get to a certain points and just refuse togo anywhere i will have to drag her she only goes where she wants and will never follow me. One time i got her far away from the house and i was dragging her and the leash came off and she started running away i was running after her and i caught her and had to pick her up and bring her back to the house she isnthat much of a small dog btw .Anyway, what can i do to make her walk with me on a leash and to make her not run away when she sees me.. seems times isnt working?
Horse and dog problems?
i have 3 german sheperds and one mustang. when the dogs and horse see eachother they are fine with eachother but when i ride my horse the dogs try and attack my horse and if i run my horse they try and bite his legs.How can i train my dogs to not hurt my horse?

My dogs got out and i got the dog clicker and it attracted the wrong dog.... then it wouldn't leave my backyard so when we found our dogs they didn't care and played with her so i have an electric fence to keep the dogs in the don't jump over that fence any more and i guess the dog got curious and went between the fence and got shocked and doesn't want to jump our normal fence so she's stuck and i tried unplugging the electric fence and I got shocked i don't know what to do.... i tried luring her over the fence.... it didn't workwhat should i do?..... Weird problem with dog biscuits...?
Sometimes when I buy dog biscuits, I buy the ones from the bulk section in the pet store. My dog likes them and they are cheap. Plus I'm not giving him that many, so they don't have to be super healthy, either.There are four colors. Red, Yellow, Green, and Orange.He only eats the green ones, and rarely the other three. I know it's odd, and I know dogs don't give a crap what color their food is.Could it be certain additives they do don't put in that color of biscuit that they don't do in the other three colors?Because when I give him a green biscuit, he always eats it. He rarely eats the other three colors, though. And when I hold out two different colored treats, he always chooses the green one if it's available. So what is it? Why does he like greens better?To Mary S I would NOT eat a dog biscuit Unless I am trying to save my dog's life don't know where I got that but anyway I am NOT eating a dog biscuit
What kind of problems do you have with your male lab dogs?
For those of you who have experience with lab dogs males preferably what problems do you have with them? Are they all bad? And personally how do you feel about them being outside, for a short amount of time. about 2 hours Please Let Me Know. Darh Luh.
Having problems finding the right breed for me {{dogs}}?
basicly iv been looking into getting another dog lately but im finding it hard to choose one.i already own a male rottie and a male bull mastiff and both are fine so i am experienced with large breeds.i want a large breed that is loyal, protective, fun, playful and obedient.hair and drool isnt a problem...... i preferably want a large working breed.i dont want nothing small not that i have a problem with them i just like large breeds could you tell me your experience with the dog that you would recommened.the dogs i have in mine are the alaskan malamute i dont wont them running away though and apparently they aint the loyalist breeds and cannot be taken off the leash.the doberman pinscher like there loyalty and playfulnesscane corso like there protectiveness and personalityplease give me your opinion on which dog breed you recommened
What is the worst problem you've had with your lab dogs?
For those of you who have labrador dogs puppies....what's the most trouble you've had with one or what was the problem? Please let me know How do you personally feel about keeping them OUTSIDE? & hearts It won't be outside ALL the time. And it will have a warm place to sleep inside, or outside of the house, for sure
My dog has pulling problems. she wont do it!?
i have a 8yr old chinook that i am training for skijoring and dogsledding. i have the right harness and she seems like she wants to do it but when she is pulling anything over 15lbs she get frustrated and wont budge and just barks, unless i am running up ahead with a reward. any ideas on how to get her pulling?
Different leash problem with this dog...?
All my other dogs have come on walks with me very happily. But my new dog won't budge an inch. Seriously I have to drag her and she just lets me drag her What can i do to make her come with me?My mom told me I should put the leash on her and attach it to the doorknob so she'll be moving around but can't go anywhere. Is that a good method?
Is my dogs dependency a problem?
I have a four year old male miniature pinscher. Up until about two months ago he was what you would expect out of a high energy dog. He plays with our boxer, goes on regular walks and he gets play time out in the yard and inside with myself and my husband as well. He has always slept in bed with us i know, bad Sarah...Bad He barks quite a bit when a car door slams or a horn goes off or when new people show up at the house. Until two monthes ago though he only wanted to be cuddled and petted when it was convenient for him about 5 minutes a day . Recently he has formed an odd attachment to me. He will not leave my side at night and he litterally moves with me as i roll in bed. When i wake up in the morning he drapes himself across my chest and refuses to move. He gets jealous when my husband and I touch and he is right there to get in the middle. At night, after work when we sit down to watch tv he HAS to be sitting as close to me as possible, and when we go to leave the house or even the room he struggle just to keep me from moving him away from me. Is is new found need to be close to me a problem?He even refuses to go outside unless i go with him. ANNOYING uh...no..im not pregnent....that iknow of atleast
My dog has a wierd problem?
My dog is a 4 year old black lab mutt. She always sheds like a normal black lab. This is the first year that my family and i have noticed that she has a lot of dandruff. I took her to the local dog beach today and then showered her right after. The whole entire bath tube is now filled with black dog hair. we don't no what is happening to her besides losing a lott of her hair. She acts normal and eats her usual amount of food. Can you please answer if you are a veterinariann or someone who knows a lott about dogs.
