Help with dog feeding problem!?
Ok so my dog Shitzu maltese mix wont eat unless there's no one by his dish? It's very strange and he also will only take a few pieces out of his bowl go about 6 feet away, chew them and return to get more pieces? He'll never eat at his bowl without walking away? And also he'll eat if I stand far away but if I walk over he'll immediately freeze and look at me...idk it's so weird but very funny I guess. I was just wondering if maybe it was something to do with being self conscious? lol idk if that's possible for a dog...It also needs to be very quiet for him to eat and not too many people...but he has no problem eating like a pig without walking away from his dish at other people's houses? i'm confused I don't get it Thanks for all your help in advance Ok first of all my dod is NOT neurotic lol sry i'm defensive of my puppy. My dog is not agressive at all, he wont even bite me if i put meat all over my hand and put my hand in his mouth, catch my drift? so that probably wouldn't be the problem

I am bored with feeding my dog dry food all the time. Is there any recipes out there that I can make up for my dogs that use 'human' ingredients?I feed her everyday. But she won't eat her plain dry dog food. But she is healthy.
Why isn't my dog feeding her puppies?
My dog has been feeding her puppies but when we let her out to use the bathroom she pees on the floor if we don't she will ignore all there cries for like an hour. There cries are like really loud sharp whimpers but I'm not sure if there in pain or if there hungry. Is there something wrong?They were born last week...thursday about ?
Question about dog feeding?
I have started feeding my dogs a raw food diet. My question is about the meats and organs I have been told to add. First, is it ok or better to feed my dog raw or cooked meats I put it in rice . And second I've been told the importance of organs in there raw feeding. So do I cook the organs first and how mych do i give them? Like should I put them in every meal or every or what? Pleasae save your time by not answering if your going to talk about the debate or of rawfeeding or just basically dont know what you're talking about. Please leave a reference site or reasoning that shows accuracy in your answer. Thanks
Help with ideas for dog feeding station/area?
We have two dogs and are looking for a better way to set up a " feeding station" for them. They are both medium large dogs and keep making a HUGE mess every time they eat in the kitchen. We currently have two feeding bowls two water bowls set up in the kitchen with a large towel underneath. But they keep getting food bits and water everywhere Any suggestions as to another set up we can try?? Thanks I should mention that it will be hard to feed them outside in the winter we live very far up north where the temp gets really low and the snow fall is high. We'd prefer to keep them inside for feeding time. Thanks

everyone has been telling me to put my dog on a feeding schedule pomeranian 7 months. I think it would be a good idea for morning afternoon and night but does anyone have some suggestions for specific times?
Did I kill my dog feeding it pork?
I recently had a dog die, a rottweiler mix ,one night cooking strips of pork, no bones, and feed some to her, few minutes later she was on her back appeared to be choking a little nothing was in her throat and shortly she just died. Can pork really kill a dog like that?

Dog: feeding and eliminating?
I'm getting ready to adopt a large breed dog and am wondering how soon after feeding can I expect the dog to want to go out and poop? I haven't had a dog in a long time and just don't remember. Besides, our family dog back then was free fed which I am not going to do this time, so I need to know when to feed. She's an 8yr old female German Shepherd.She's being fed once a day now and I am going to keep it that way. Was just wondering. Maybe all dogs are different.
Dog feeding schedule help please?
basically i was letting my dogs free feed but i figured i never really know exactly how much they are eating or when so i have started a more structured feeding schedule. when they was free feeding they would both eat like 2 bowls of food a day probably. i always have water down obviously and for the feeding i give them a bowl of food each at 10 am and another at 6 pm.and i leave them down for 20 mins then take them away. the problem is, they arent eating it when i give them the bowl they will sit and wait and look at me right expectantly and wait for me to put it on the floor, then they run over to it right exited, have like literally one or two bits of complete out of it, and then leave the rest. ive tried supervising for the whole 20 mins so i can watch how much they actually eat, and they dont eat anything other than the initial couple of mouthfulls, and ihave tried leaving them alone incase it waqs me watching that put them off but they still dont eat it its the same at both meal times, so between them they probably eat half a teacup of comlplete a day. and i know that aint enough i thought maybe as they got more used to the routine they would then eat better but i have been doing this for a week and a half and it is still the same. they just wont eat.i also tried walking them before their mealtimes so they could have it as like a reward when they get back but they arent bothered for it. any tips to get them into the schedule better? thanks xsorry, did i not say i only leave it down for 20 mins at a time, or did you just not read the question? oh..yes i did say that....
My dog jus had puppies n wont eat or let the dogs feed...what can we do?
she had them about 4 days ago...n wouldnt feed...so we bottle feed them...then they latched on to mom...yesterday she had another puppy that was still born...now mom dog wont eat...and wont let the puppies feed.
Help Dog Feeding Problem?
We need to feed a friends dog, but it wont let us in the yard My sons have been asked to feed this persons 2 dogs. Problem is that one of the dogs wont let them in the gate. They need to get into the yard to gain entry to the home, as the food is inside the house. When the boys went to meet the dogs with the owner present the dogs were lovely, but now with the owner away a completely different story The other problem is there is also a bird which needs to be fed, but they cant get to that either. I know it wont last long without water.Does anyone have any tips on how they can get past the aggressive dog and make sure they all get water and food. The owners are away for 6 nights. Tonight is night one, and we have had to let them go without food, but im sure they will be very hungry by tomorrow.Help please.The owners have a mobile number but it is was turned off. We tried to contact them immediately.
I rescued an emaciated dog, feeding him small amounts, but he is throwing up a lot of liquid, what can I do?
Feeding him puppy food, about half of a small can every two hours or depending on his appetite.I took him to the vet Monday, he checked out OK other than he hasn't eaten in almost 3 weeks.
Dog feeding troubles, Plz help.?
I have two dogs i feed them separately the same food but one of the dogs eats out of the others dogs food but when i direct him to his food to eat it he wil shove it with his nose and when the other dog leaves the other dog comes and will eat his food and will not even touch his but he will still guard it from the other dog. plzz help how i can solve the problem.Two different rooms wont help i feed them outside i do have a screen porch but they know how to open the doors to the porch. plzz help me some more lol.It doesn't really matter to the dogs if i stand guard. But i came with a theory, answer me if i'm right or wrong, in the stuburn dog's bowl i'll put a peice of food in it to make it look better then the other dog's food and he will eat it instead, if u disagree answer no and give me ur theory. those of u who answered me I M on messenger to change answer
