Question: How can i get my parents scent on my dogs new dog bed?

My dog is kind of obsessive over my parents lol. Hes really clingy. I have a Yorkie and he'll only lay down on something if it has My mom and/ or dads scent on it, well you know he wont lay on his new dog bed untill we break it in lmfao...My dog sleeps with my parents at night, like in between my mom in my dad. Its pretty funny. He will lay on thier old comforter because they slept on it until they got a new one. How should I do this (Rub my parents scent onto the new bed)?

Just give him one of your parents dirty t-shirts to sleep with.

Take something with your mom/ dads scent on it, & rub it into the dog bed...... or you could have your mom or dad directly rub the bed themselves.

Just put an article of clothing that they just took off in the dog bed. There scent will be strong. If he is your dog just close your bedroom door where he can't go to their room.

Give him an old blanket or duvet and put it in his bed. He will be able to sleep and smell his friends!

Well, maybe you could make a pillow or something that could be in his bed out of one of their old items of clothing... I did that with my dog with an old blanket of mine. He slept in his bed without a fight! You might even try just laying an old pillow case or something in the bottom. Good Luck! :)

Aww cute the dog feels comfort in there smell and feels that they are around. I use to have to do this when i went to work and left my little guy behind bring in a old shirt of your mom and dads that they can give up and lay it on the new bed she will smell both of them through the clothes and lay on top of that . you could lay the shirts anywhere in the house and i bet you she'd lay on that instead of the bed so yes put the shirts on her little bed for comfort she will cozy up into a ball there.
