My 4 year old goldendoodle prefers to sleep on the hardwood floors although she has access to "dog beds" in?
most areas of the house, as well as our couches. i try to encourage her to use her beds, but she likes the hardwood floors. I'm worried about her bones and arthritis. Any thoughts suggestions?
A question about dog beds ?
I'm getting a husky soon maybe about 6 7 weeks old. I was wondering the bed sizes i should get because i don't know how fast they will grow. Also how many will i have to get, especially when hes an adult. should it be a large 40" bed ? confused thanks.
My female Cavalier pees on dog beds.?
My one year old Cavalier is completely housetrained and has no problem communicating her need to go out. I've tried buying her dog beds, but every one that I bring home she will sniff it, scratch it and then pee on it. She's done this with 3 beds now. She doesn't pee anywhere else in the house my bed, couch, recliner, floor, etc. I just think it's so incredibly odd...
Where can you get magnetic dog collars or even magnetic dog beds..?
Has anyone heard anything good about magnetic dog collars for relieving arthritis symptoms in dogs? I have a greyhound who broke his front and back leg when he raced and now he has really bad arthritis. He also has a screw in each of his legs from the surgery. Any suggestions? He's already on glucosamine and it hasn't helped much at all. ANyone know anything I can do to help him out a little more?

Looking for an NHL or NFL dog bed...?
So, Im looking for a dog bed for the dog that Im getting, and Im looking for either a San Jose Sharks one or a Miami Dolphins one. Anyone with a rec on where I might find NHL or NFL dog beds?lol. Yeah, tried there first with no luck, same with Ebay.Great idea about just having one made. I may do that if it becomes a last resort. I dont know anyone that sews like that. haha.

Need a natural spray for inside and outside of house and dogs areas including bedding. Particular problem with ants annoying dog especially biting his ears.
Is there a dog bed that my dog wont destroy?
I have a 60lb Australian Shepherd who's a great, well trained dog but for whatever reason he can't resist chewing on blankets and soft dog beds. Nothing else, just blankets and soft dog beds. He has a metal crate but I really want to get a dog bed for him and put away the crate. Does anyone know of any comfy dog beds that he can't destroy?Thanks
Help me! more kitchen, velcroing and going to the dog bed?
so I am still having problems having the dogs be out of the kitchen, so much that my mind gets frazzled and it is hard to not yell out a differnt command word. my parents seem inconsistant as well. My mom just shouts " GET OUT" and chases them out, my stepdad dosen't seem use the same word I would.the one problem is I 'treat them" when they go out and stop sticking by my legs, these dogs don't " do toys" and the one that will, is not getting a sock or stuffed animal to chew on.I think one problem is they know " she get up that mean kitchen that mean we stand by door and get treat" I am told to get them to do a 'bed' command, where they get treats ON a dog bed, so then when I say " bed" they will go out of the kitchen, away from my feet and go to bed.how long will it work? they just follow me again after gobbling up what ever the hell I thew on the dog bed, then they follow me, try to back into the kitchen if I go doing dishes, pouring a drink, getting food, making even a toaster waffle i wonder if it would take 4 months to get them to 'stay to the bed' when i get up.because they don't seem to be even slightly 'getting it" " bed" toss people food into dog bed " bed" and do it as i do, slowly. so they learn " bed is good place i hear bed i get treat" throwing them a food for sitting in the openings just leads to more following.or should I ditch the " positive" training and just smack their butts with a towl when they play wander in kitchen hopeing for a crumb or microscopic speck of grease1 dogs in kitchen tripping over them,2 the set up is liken a T, so i'd need to baby gates and one mega gate3 I'm run ragged and have the depression I'm not sure how to go " dog wisperer" on them.
