Is there any law against your dog barking incessantly?
My new neighbor has 5 chihuahuas and they are just the most annoying things in the world.Are there dog laws out there for this kind of thing?Lemons, You're childish. They won't take the dogs for barking.I like animals but I don't like 5 dogs outside my window barking simultaneously from morning to night.
How can i stop my small dog barking uncontrolably at strangers?
I have a small dog she is only about a foot high. She's a family dog and when she's at home she's loving obedient and and great family pet. This is until someone knocks on the door or walks up the drive She barks aggressively and growls. She doesn't go near them she just runs away. We had her from a puppy and she has always been like this. I have another dog who doesn't bark and is so soppy and i thought she may learn from his behaviour but she is getting worse.I have tried making a loud noise each time she barks, saying No loudly, removing her from the situation and also getting the person to give her a treat but none of this works She takes the treat then starts again I must add as soon as the person comes to the house on a few different occasions she seems to get used to them and is no problem Help.
What can I do about a neighbor making false aleagtions about my dog barking to animal control?
These complaints are retaliation complaints becuase I have reported them to the owners and HOA for loud noises, public drinking, and pot smoking. They do anything they can to harrass me including making the false complaints about my dog barking. I would like to know what I can do about this to protect myself and my dog.I forgot to mention that I am African American and the nieghbors complainig are Caucasion. They make racial comments as well. I am not complaing about them have a cook out or just public drinking. When I come home from work and there are men on my stairway drining and smoking pot I have to walk through this to get to my aparment everyday. Yes it is their lifestyle choice, but they can do this in their own house or patio instead of the stairway that accesses my apartment.

any time we go out in the garden he spends the whole time barking its fair annoying ive tryed turning the hose on him every now and again but it doesnt work for too long. and they aint the type to aprroch about it we have our own dog who never barks and if she does i always tell her to stoop
Boxer dog barking - How to fix that?
Our Boxer pup thats a year old barks alot. Just recently he has started being more of an unsociable dog. He has never had issues before. But he barks when he sees new people. At our daughters school, Last year he went alot to go for the car ride and wait for the kids. He was good didnt bark and let kids pet him. Now recently that the weather is getting nicer he is able to go again but he seemed alittle scared or nervous. Im not sure Im just assuming He barked at a few adults that passed by and wouldnt sit and relax when kids came near him. So we put him in the car cuz we didnt want anyone to be nervous. Kids parents dog He has never bite anyone. Our kids roll around with him and have never had problems. But that has always been my fear of dogs. I was bite when I was kid by a my friends nice dog I dont want to put him in a situation where what if he bites Id feel awlful. What are some things we can be doing with him to help ease him? How do we practice this with him?There is one adult stay home all the time. Other than erronds and stuff. And even when going to see family the dog goes along with.K are you working with your dog, How has he been?I was thinking it was cuz of Winter. We have been outside playing with the kids and dog now for the last few days and will be making it to the parks soon Boxer will come with. I just hoping we are not the dog parents at the park that always have to yell at their dog. LOLFamiliar places and people he is fine with. Sweeties dog. Someone has told me, Not to let him get to use to people, Incase someone breaks in or something you dont want the dog to be their friend. What do you think? How can i stop my dog barking?
I've tried the bark controllers, the citronella spray, the ultrasonic sound device, puttig peanut butter on his nose, putting him in a crate everytime he's barked, spraying him with water everytime he's barked. Nothing has worked, he doesnt' bark when he's inside, only when he's outside. I live in a mountainous area and think there are wild animals in the far distance, and that may be causing it.I did get the shock thing, it worked for the first month, then he started going crazy and barkng louder when he'd get zapped. and i felt it was inhumane at that point, so i started using the other methods.i work most of the day so i ony spend like 4 5 hours of my time with him when i get home, i just wanna send him outside around 12 midnigh till morning. if i do end up talking with it, problem is, he starts barking even more to grab my atention in the future.I walk him 3 times a week for like 3 4 miles each time, he's a white german shepherd.

my dog barks like CRAZY for no reason, its not becuase she hungry or wants out side, she barks at the smallest noise say i open the fridge door she freaks out and barks for no reason, sometimes she just barks for fun. she gets plenty of exercise, i want to know what kind of bark collar should i get i heard soem make a noiose dogs hate, and some zap them and others spray a smell in front of them,id prefer to make the zap collars last resort,i want to know if they work and which ones work good. thanks

Why does my dog bark and pee on the furniture when I go to pick up the poop outside?
Everytime I go to pick up the dog droppings outside, zeus, a Male,120 lbs., 8 y o Lab, bolts out of his doggy door, before I can get out there. He will bark at the birds, and at me, and at random things, maybe a bug, or a leaf, anything that moves. He then will proceed to pee on an outside rug, and then back to peeing on the concrete, or maybe a fold up chair. When I go to bag it up, he REALLY barks at me, and claws at the pile of poop I've raked up, even sometimes tears the bag open, and I have to get a new bag, and even sometimes I have to rake the poop back up again.How do I stop this, and what causes this? He has a 30'X20' yard, and we feed and play with him all the time. I don't see why he would do this. He goes on walks, he, and our other dogs are very healthy.SLA I have neighbours. I've had the cops been called on me, due to excessive barking from a canine. I've had to go to court once. I put him in the room, or I put him away, or I put the shock collar, and he still barks.
