Can you feed garden birds raisins?

A way to make money using my birds?
At 13 in the UK i recently took 500 pounds out o my bank to start a bird aviary. i have a large outdoor aviary with at the moment Cockatiels and budgies. Im trying to save to pay for food ect. As that was the agreement with my parents also BEGIN for a bigger bird such as a lesser sulpher crested cockatoo or my dream bird a blue and gold macaw I am extremely Intelligent on the birds subject. As I have not severe cerbal palsy i pursued an interest in birds rather then football or something. I know about breeding and know well enough it is not profitable. I thought of training them to do bird shows, is that a good idea?. Any other ideas?
My cat keeps catching birds and bringing them inside! Help! Iv tried everything?
I have a big backyard with many many birds and he always catches them. He catches about one bird a day, sometimes two He has a bell and that doesnt work, so iv tried two bells, still doesnt work. Um love birds....?
I was thinking about getting a love bird, but I don't know. Some people say they just sit in their cage and don't do anything or are really loud and annoying and bite you. I want one, but I am not sure anymore, I want something I can take out and enjoy playing with, not to just watch it in it's cage as it does stupid things.
Whats the best pet to keep indoors, except kittens, cats, dogs, birds, hamsters fishes?
Teils/Love birds.........?
Can Cockatiels and Love birds share the same cage, and if there is to be a time lapse between the different birds which should go in first. I'm thinking of maybe territorial fights........
Love birds? how about love dogs?

I was thinking of getting my 1st bird...?
I have never owned a bird before so I need help deciding on what kind to get. I have been doing a lot of research for about three months already, and I plan on doing more once I know what kind to get. I have a budget of around $200 just on the bird and cage alone. I know that I would spend more than that on toys, vet bills, food, etc. I would like a companion that would bond with me and I could enjoy spending time with it. I am 14 and I am at school for around eight hours. Do you think that a bird be alright by itself for that long, and if not, should I get two to keep each other company? I have been thinking about getting either a lovebird, parrotlett, meyers, or cockatiel. Can you give me positives negatives about these birds? I am open to other options so if you could suggest any other kinds that I might enjoy, that would be great I would like to add that I don't really want a parakeet, finch, or canary. I would rather have one that would be more " hands on" . Also, can you suggest any good books websites that have information on these birds? Thanks so much in advance
